In 1925

AMC-SCHOU's history started in the early part of last century. Aarhus Motor Company was established in 1925 as a Ford car dealer in the centre of Aarhus.

In 1938

The need for specialised machines for the reconditioning of combustion engines arose and in 1938 production of the first machines was started.

In 1951

After successful export sales, a separate company, Aarhus Machine Company (AMC) was established in 1951.

In 1980

In 1980 Aarhus Motor Company closed down due to a recession in the car business but AMC continued as a separate company.

In 1998

In 1998, AMC-SCHOU AS moved to new, purpose-built, premises covering 9,000 m2 in Galten, 20 km west of Aarhus.

In 2012

In 2012, Bestech Group succeeded in the buyout of AMC-SCHOU.

In 2014

And in 2014, AMC-SCHOU had moved into a new factory covering 6,000 m2 in Zhangjiagang ,China, which is close to Shanghai.
